Part 42
![](1-image001.jpg)
Well, let's get started.
![](2-image002.jpg)
The second floor is just a room with some chests inside of it.
Inside were 2 Hacking Tools, a Repair Unit SP, and...
![](3-image003.jpg)
A new bazooka!
![:haw:](../Smilies/emot-haw.gif)
![](4-image004.jpg)
I went ahead and gave it to Tremmie.
![](5-image005.jpg)
The third floor is similar to the second floor. the door right in front of us will lead back to the first elevator. The other two lead to treasure!
![](6-image006.jpg)
First up is the Beam Glaive.
![](7-image007.jpg)
It's stronger than the Hyper Beam Saber, but since I can't use Giga Crush with spears, I didn't equip it.
![](8-image008.jpg)
The second chest contains a Recovery System III, which will just heal 15% of the equipped unit's HP while it is in the backrow.
![](9-image009.jpg)
The fourth floor is Awesome.
![](10-image010.jpg)
![](11-image011.jpg)
First, Mahdi will lead Katz into an obvious trap.
![](12-image012.jpg)
Then the door will lock behind him before his allies can join him.
![](13-image013.jpg)
And now we're up against 6 groups of enemies.
![](14-image014.jpg)
![](15-image015.jpg)
![](16-image016.jpg)
I am shocked by this development!
![](17-image017.jpg)
Boy, I bet Katz just feels like a complete idiot right now.
![](18-image018.jpg)
![](19-image019.jpg)
In any other game, Mahdi would be a great villian.
![](20-image020.jpg)
She then leaves Katz to his doom.
![](21-image021.jpg)
That's the plan.
![](22-image022.jpg)
Suddenly!
![](23-image023.jpg)
Hal Vizardt out of fucking nowhere!
Now begins one of the most
![:black101:](../Smilies/emot-black101.gif)
![](24-image024.jpg)
Somewhere along the line, Hal got himself a Sazabi.
![](25-image025.jpg)
![](26-image026.jpg)
Hal makes this section a joke, since he can just High Funnel everything into oblivion.
![](27-image027.jpg)
Hal is the best.
![](28-image028.jpg)
![](29-image029.jpg)
Just look at his stats, goddamn.
![](30-image030.jpg)
And once again, we can't alter his equipment.
![](31-image031.jpg)
![](32-image032.jpg)
![](33-image033.jpg)
![](34-image034.jpg)
Hal and Katz proceed to destroy everything in sight!
![](35-image035.jpg)
Once the last enemy falls, the door unlocks.
![](36-image036.jpg)
And Hal leaves just as suddenly as he appeared.
![](37-image037.jpg)
That's not likely to happen anytime soon.
![](38-image038.jpg)
Damn right he did.
Anyway, let's move on.
![](39-image039.jpg)
![](40-image040.jpg)
More corridors filled with enemies that die to stiff breezes.
![](41-image041.jpg)
The chest in the back contained an EN Max.
![](42-image042.jpg)
![](43-image043.jpg)
![](44-image044.jpg)
![](45-image045.jpg)
![](46-image046.jpg)
The only notable thing about this fight was the Barrier Claw, which allowed me to show off the Fin Funnels.
![](47-image047.jpg)
![](48-image048.jpg)
Yes, me.
Me. Me. Me.
![](49-image049.jpg)
![](50-image050.jpg)
![](51-image051.jpg)
Not really much to say about this fight.
![](52-image052.jpg)
She does hit Fritz with a System Crack, which is a better version of System Hack.
![](53-image053.jpg)
Not really.
![](54-image054.jpg)
![](55-image055.jpg)
Well, that was easy.
![](56-image056.jpg)
![](57-image057.jpg)
Some new boosts and an excellent new weapon. Final Impact is a super Giga Crush, and Ultimate Weapon you've seen before.
![](58-image058.jpg)
![](59-image059.jpg)
![](60-image060.jpg)
And then she blows up.
![](61-image061.jpg)
Like it wasn't obvious where he was already.
![](62-image062.jpg)
These two chests contained 2 Hacking Tools and a restorative drink SP.
![](63-image063.jpg)
![](64-image064.jpg)
In here are some chests which contained a restorative drink SP, a Repair Kit SP, and two more hacking tools.
![](65-image066.jpg)
And before I forget, here is the Beam Scissors. It's extremely powerful, but it still carries the downsides of Axe weaponry, namely the high EN cost and large size.
![](66-image068.jpg)
I still gave it to Katz, since it will allow him to get the most out of Giga Crush and Final Impact. It also looks damn cool.
![](67-image067.jpg)
Anyway, eventually we find a ramp that leads up to another floor.
![](68-image069.jpg)
![](69-image070.jpg)
A Re-Gelg. only really showing it off because it's a new suit.
![](70-image071.jpg)
It did give us some bitching new shoulders though.
![](71-image072.jpg)
You don't want to go into this door just yet, continue along the current path since there's a switch you will want to hit at the end of it.
![](72-image073.jpg)
Also, we finally got to a high enough level that Invisible will keep most of the random encounters at bay!
![:woop:](../Smilies/emot-woop.gif)
![](73-image074.jpg)
This switch will unlock the fifth floor elevator door.
Back to the door I passed by earlier...
![](74-image076.jpg)
Oh shit.
![](75-image077.jpg)
![](76-image078.jpg)
God, just shut up and fight already!
![](77-image079.jpg)
![](78-image080.jpg)
So yeah, Gabriel.
Gabe is a chump who died in about five turns.
![](79-image081.jpg)
Let's see what Final Impact can do!
![](80-image082.jpg)
![](81-image083.jpg)
![](82-image084.jpg)
![](83-image085.jpg)
![](84-image086.jpg)
Damn, that actually did more damage than Gatling Fire!
![](85-image087.jpg)
![](86-image088.jpg)
![](87-image089.jpg)
later, Gabe.
![](88-image090.jpg)
NOOOOOOOOO!
![](89-image091.jpg)
![](90-image092.jpg)
![](91-image093.jpg)
Whatever, I'll just have to kick your ass even harder next time.
![](92-image094.jpg)
God, I hate this guy.
